January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. Regular screenings play an important role in early prevention and detection of cervical cancer. Below are several key statistics for cervical cancer, as well as two of the most important preventative measures you can take to lower your risk of developing cervical cancer. Your cervical cancer screening can be performed during your annual gynecological exam.
